HANJAFRIEND · ACCOUNT DELETION

Delete your account and learning records

For the app account created through Google sign-in in Malangsoft’s HanjaFriend Android app and its synchronized learning records. Last updated: November 5, 2026.

Request deletion without the app

You do not need to reinstall the app. Email an account deletion request to indian311@icloud.com ↗.

  1. Send the request from the Google account email address used to sign in to HanjaFriend. If you contact us from a different address, we may request further account ownership verification.
  2. Use the subject “HanjaFriend Android account deletion request” and state that you want your HanjaFriend app account and its associated synchronized learning records deleted.
  3. After verifying account ownership, we will process the deletion and reply with the result. Do not send passwords, verification codes or payment information. A parent or guardian may contact us, but account ownership must still be verified before deletion.

Delete directly in the app

Open the sync settings at the top of the character list → Learning synchronization → Delete account and synchronized records. A recent sign-in is required. If a connection error interrupts deletion, sign in and retry, or email us as described above.

What is deleted

We delete the HanjaFriend Firebase Authentication account and its associated Cloud Firestore learning records: per-character reading and writing attempts, answers, assessment results, learning dates and review information. Deleting in the app also removes that account’s local learning records on that device. Your Google account itself and other apps’ data are not deleted. Deletion cannot be undone.
